A fun and super easy photo editor online!

Okay so I ran across this photo editor and I love it! It is so easy to use!

Go to http://www.pixlr.com/express
The site looks extremely simple... and it is! For this, I am going to click on collage to show you how to make a collage of pictures. See the box on the far right that says collage? Click it!

It will then pull up the default for four pictures but there are a ton of different layouts to choose from! See where I have clicked the box "layout" below and all the options come up? Click the up and down arrows on the bottom right of the box for more!

So I chose a three picture to make it look like a photo booth print out... wouldn't that be fun for your students??? When you put your mouse over a box, a + will appear. Click on the plus sign.

By clicking on the + it will send you to your computer files to choose a picture! I have chosen three down below! See the check mark with the word Finished in the bottom right corner? Click on that when you are done!

It will pull up some new boxes for you to play with!

The effects box gives you play with the color. When you are click on a box, more options show up for that category.

The overlay box... well... overlays an image over your pictures. Again, these are categories so clicking on a box will bring up several options.

The border box again gives you tons of fun options

Stickers are by category as well. If you click on Halloween... it will give you a bunch of Halloween stickers you could add.
 You can even add text!

When you are done, click save in the top left of the screen and you will be given the chance to name and save! The files are not huge, but big enough to play with. Especially, if you have your students working with blogs and things of that sort. Wouldn't it be fun to let them make a collage of their work to display to parents?? So many ideas! Post a comment below about how you could use this in the classroom!

  2. You are very welcome! Although the pictures are not really print worthy as they are small, it would still make for a wonderful activity if they are doing internet activities or if printing a small picture would be fine! Thanks for reading!
